So it was kinda like very expensive plastic eyelid surgery?
I'll expect a whole lot of Kenzo TLC the coming days anyway
Viva had a small wart - already as long as we have her - on the inside of her eyelid. Lately it started growing and annoying her, and yesterday the wart was even bleeding a little bit. So the wart had to go. Our luck was that we finally have Viva's health in such a good shape, that there was no additional risk to let her undergo surgery. The stitches can be removed again in 10 days, until then, we take extra good care of her.
Poor girl, I can see how she would be worried! :-)
ReplyDeleteRecover quickly dear Viva. Our Pip had the same problem and she was fine. Sending healing paw and lots of love. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Glad to hear Pip is alright. I am sure it will work out for Viva too. Thanks for the healing paw love.
DeleteA wart INSIDE the eyelid! Goodness. Never heard of such a thing. Take care of yourself, Viva, and don't do anything silly until you get 100%! Hugs X
ReplyDeleteCrazy place what. She must take a corny pleasure in trying to hide her conditions, she is pretty good at it :)
DeleteThanks, we take care of her!
Hi Kenzo, I’m Anne from Life on the Funny Farm (http://annesfunnyfarm.blogspot.com), and I’m visiting from the Pet Blogger Hop.
ReplyDeleteAwww, the poor thing. But I bet she's gonna feel sooo much better now! Wishing her a speedy recovery.
Anyway, thanks for posting this. If you’ve never visited yet, I hope you can pop by my blog sometime to say hi…
Poor sweetie! Glad she's doing so well now!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that Viva is doing so well that the procedure was not a problem. Just curious: I'm assuming she needed a general anesthetic, right, but it's probably not as complicated as a teeth cleaning or other procedure, because the surgery is minor?
ReplyDeleteHi Edie! It was very very minor surgery, nothing more than some plastic eyelid surgery. The vet cut a small v-shape out of the eyelid, and that was it.
DeleteWe also only have painkillers for 4 days, not near as much as we would have get with "real" surgery.
Viva is already dancing and bouncing about, like nothing happened.
Poor girl! I hope she is feeling better! Those cones are no fun at all!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I can't image what Bunk would do if that happened to him. He would freak out.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad she is recovering well! Cali has one on the outside of her eyelid, but it only bothered her after she was sprayed by the evil skunk. Some eye drops helped it calm down again, and now it seems to be fine - it's still there, but it isn't bothering her. I'm sure Viva is enjoying all of the extra attention :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice post.
